HIDA 2011 Industry Awards

HIDA, in partnership with Repertoire magazine and Professional Women in Healthcare (PWH), recognize and award superior performance, contribution, and leadership within the medical industry. These prestigious Industry Awards are presented once a year at the MedSurg Conference & Expo™ honoring individuals for their professionalism and lasting commitment to the healthcare manufacturers and distributors industry.

Repertoire/HIDA Excellence in Sales Award
HIDA and Repertoire will honor one top-performing manufacturer and distributor sales representative as well as a runner-up in each category.

PWH/HIDA Inspirational Award (Jana Quinn Spirit Award)
In memory of PWH member Jana Quinn, the members of Professional Women in Healthcare have created the “Jana Quinn Inspirational Award.” The first award was presented at the 2009 MedSurg Conference & Expo^TM to John Moran of Welch Allyn. The 2010 award was presented to Anne Eiting Klamar of Midmark Corporation. This award will be presented on an annual basis and will go to an inspirational person in the medical industry, male or female. PWH and HIDA are seeking a person with qualities that define their success in life, not only professionally. We are looking for the qualities that were an inherent part of Jana and her experiences. We are looking for a combination of a mentor, role model, advisor, family person, a person not afraid to struggle, and one who’s combination of endearing qualities draw others to him/her.
